Mercado: Power over Ethernet from the water closet
Posted December 18th, 2004 by mikemee

Power for the rooftop gear is conveniently available in a closet found on each building that houses the hot water heater and air heater. Here you can see the PoE adapter mounted to the wall and the cable clipped to the wall with some some extra in case we later decide to rearrange things and install a UPS. From here, the cable runs down next to the door jam and exits through the bottom of the wall. We tried to keep it well out of the way of anyone trying to work on the piping.
