Drew and his Lovely Hat Assembling the LMR Junction Box
Posted July 9th, 2006 by Matt Fanady
Here SCFN board member Drew (and his lovely hat) work on the assembly of the LMR junction box. This box houses the LMR splitter, and the power injector for the amplifier. This power injector works just like your standard PoE (Power over Ethernet) injector, but instead of sending power down the unused CAT-5 pairs, it sends power down the same LMR cable that carries RF to and from the antenna array.
