Wrangling an outdoor box

In the top left corner is a Meraki Mini inside a watertight enclosure. There is an RP-SMA to N-Female bulkhead antenna lead and a black LMR400 N-Male to N-Male cable attached to an omni antenna above (not visible). Matt is connecting some waterproof flexible conduit which will protect the cat-5 cable run from the roof to power via a PoE injector in a box at ground level.

Chimney straps are a somewhat tedious method of installation, but they're simple and don't require any holes or sealing etc. Here you can see a temporary radio on top and the top of the permanent one waiting for installation.
Assembling an outdoor Radio

A volunteer assembles an outdoor radio ready for installation at San Martin de Porres Apartments in Spring Valley. This is a Meraki Mini radio inside a water proof case. At the top of the pole is a Pacific Wireless 9dBi omni, connected with an LMR400 4' cable with N-Male connectors on each end.
